Litter Picking at Firth Park, Sheffield
YourCare24 staff members came together in Firth Park, Sheffield for a community litter pick, dedicated to creating a cleaner, safer environment. Our staff team worked hard to tidy up the verges, footpaths, side streets, and market fronts. The response from Firth Park Market visitors, passers-by, and local residents was overwhelmingly positive. We were encouraged by the numerous compliments and expressions of appreciation from the community, reminding us how impactful our work can be!
Rock Climbing with Lindley Group
YourCare24 s taff members volunteered and joined a rock climbing event in collaboration with the Lindley Group to support young people in the community. After receiving training on assisting climbers, our staff members encouraged participants to take on new challenges and reach new heights. This rewarding experience reinforced our commitment to empowering youth in our community.
Darnall Autumn Clean-Up
YourCare24 staff members joined Sheffield City Council's Darnall Autumn Clean-Up initiative to help tidy up the Greenland and Stovin Estates. Partnering with local organisations, we took part in a community litter pick, which saw residents and volunteers come together to clean the neighbourhood. Skips were placed throughout the area, allowing residents to dispose of unwanted items easily. The community response was incredibly positive, with residents showing appreciation for our efforts to make the area cleaner and more welcoming. Special thanks go to ASDA for providing refreshments, keeping everyone energised as we worked together for a better environment.
Supporting the S6 Food Bank with YourCare24 Donations
YourCare24 staff members came together to support the S6 Food Bank, part of The Trussell Trust. Staff donated non-perishable food items, toiletries, and other essential goods, aiming to help those facing food insecurity in Sheffield. The contributions were warmly received by the S6 Food Bank team, and our staff were proud to play a part in this impactful initiative.
